Aaron Konecsni is the skating coach for the Kelowna Rockets, Hockey Canada Skills Academy and Vancouver Canuck’s prospects.

Konecsni grew up playing hockey in Saskatchewan and ended his Junior career in the KIJHL in 1998 due to a series of concussions. He decided that he was going to continue to follow his dream which was to achieve further success in the game of hockey.

He comes from a very successful, supportive and hard working family. His leadership, ambition and entrepreneurial nature lead him to managing the Okanagan Training Rink in West Kelowna at the age of 19 years old where he created Redline High Performance Hockey Schools.

Konecsni ran Hockey Skating and Skills Camps around the globe until selling Redline in 2009. During this time Aaron had developed a leading edge skating system, on and off the ice that includes over 450 drills in progression that can be taught to all ages and skills levels.

Konecsni has a relentless desire to develop all levels of hockey players’ skating like no other. The endless hours of research and determination to become the most effective and influential skating coach in hockey has made him one of the most sought after skating coaches in today’s game. Positive results is his primary objective along with building players confidence and teaching them how to apply their new skating skills in game situations. Today’s game is all about speed and puck possession and Aaron guarantees that he and his team will give you an edge on your competition.
